Combine and Spring Training Preparation
Many NFL prospects travel to train and prepare for the Indianapolis Combine at a facility in such places as: Florida, California, Arizona, Georgia, or New Jersey. By the school implementing a complete NFL draft preparation program within its current program, the student-athlete will then have an option and the ability to stay in school and continue his education while preparing for the NFL draft. If structured and organized properly, this program will allow the student-athlete to best maximize his potential for success at the Indianapolis Combine as he continues to work toward his degree.
As a part of the program, Cornerstone is available to consult with the strength coach as he implements the school’s program to educate and prepare the student-athlete for the Indianapolis Combine. The success the student-athlete has during the pre-draft process is vital for maximizing his value in the draft. Wasting valuable time on the wrong strategy is inefficient, frustrating and costly in terms of draft position. It is essential that the student-athlete have the proper background and knowledge to identify his strengths and weaknesses during the evaluation process.
After the Combine
After the Indianapolis Combine, there is still time for players to improve their standing among NFL teams. Cornerstone will continue to assist the player in taking advantage of this time to further improve the player’s measurable and position skills to better maximize the player’s position in the draft. |
